Victor G. Ketola
1884 - 1924
Victor Ketola was born in Finland, where he mat and married Rose Wirtonen. The couple emigrated to the United States in 1911 and settled in Crosby. Victor and Rose had two children. Victor worked as a miner on the Cuyuna range for nine years, at the Huntington, Martin and Milford Mines. At the time of the Milford Mine disaster Victor was 39 years old and Rose was 38. Their son Onni was 14 and their daughter Betha was 12. Victor Ketola was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.

Arvid Lehti
1892 - 1924
Arvid Lehti came to the United States from Finland and worked on the Cuyuna Range for seven years before marrying Houta Maki, whom he had met on the trip across the Atlantic Ocean. Arvid and Houta were married eighteen months, residing in Cuyuna, and later in Crosby, before his tragic death in the Milford Mine flood. At the time of the disaster, Arvid was 31 years old, and Houta was 36. Arvid Lehti was laid to rest at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.

Leo J. LaBrash
1890 - 1924
Leo LaBrash was born in Spiritwood Lake, North Dakota. He married Katherine Peterson

and they had one child, a girl. The LaBrash family lived in Crosby. Leo was 33 years old when he lost his life in the flooding of the Milford mine. Esther was 25, and their daughter was 4 years old when she lost her father. Leo Jefferson LaBrash was laid to rest in Courtney, North Dakota.

Peter Magdich
1885? - 1924
Peter Magdich was reported to have been about 40 years old at the time of Milford Mine disaster. He was born in Austria, and came to the Cuyuna Range with his father to work at the Milford Mine. Peter married Milka Magdich, who was also from Austria. They lived in the town of Cuyuna and had 5 children, 2 boys and three girls. At the time of Peter's tragic death in the Milford Mine flood, Milka was 31 years old. Their children were 11, 8, 5, 3 and 1. Peter Magdich was laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery in Crosby, Minnesota.
