These eight (8) lamps form part of a donation made by the Rotary Club of Manila, through its President "Liloy" Balatbat and Chairman "Romy" del Rosario, of the Habitat and Environment Committee in the Rotary Year (1980-1981) under the "Lamparas Para Intramuros" Project.

They were installed in 1985 by the Intramuros Administration under its Action Officer, Jaime C. Laya, and Project Architect J. Ramon L. Faustmann.
