A sculptor and a painter, respectively, whose artwork has been collected by the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, among other notable institutions.
The Rhodens were active contributors to the life of the neighborhood, and from 1960 until the end of their lives, 23 Cranberry St., built in 1887 as a commercial carriage garage, was their home and studio.
