Inscription.

On Nürnberger Street by the Bürgerweiher stands the former leper house, later also called the alms house, which reflects its various uses. In 1833 the first sickroom in Schnaittach was established here.
In 1872 the municipality founded the “Krankenanstalt Schnaittach” (Schnaittach hospital). From 1889 to 1892 it additionally rented the property at Grabenstraße 22 for use as a hospital. In 1892 the municipality built its own municipal hospital at Krankenhausweg 20, where three patient rooms were arranged on the upper floor.
With the opening of the district hospital in 1907, the municipal hospital became unnecessary. The practicing physician and medical officer Dr. Otto Feurer rented the house as a residence and medical practice. Later he bought it and had it converted into a “villa,” which is why it is still known today as Feurer’s Villa.
