The Railing
The railing surrounding this fountain is the actual bolt spacing template used for the turbine foundation. The bolts that make up the railing are the same type of bolts used for the pretensioned foundation.

Solar Fountain
Most of the energy we use originates from the sun. Photovoltaic solar cells convert the sun's energy into electrical energy we can use to do work.

The efficiency of this process can be improved by properly orienting the solar array to the sun, both as the sun's position changes during the day and as the seasons change. Our dual axis tracker automatically adjusts to optimize for both of these changes.

The Cistern
During the building's foundation construction, a historic water collection cistern was discovered. Although this caused problems for the construction, it also presented opportunities. We adjusted the building location, repaired the cistern and installed the solar tracker and pump. Beyond just running the fountain, the water can also be diverted to fill the site's water truck for plant irrigation. This water is not only far less expensive than utility water, but it is better for the plants and the environment.
