1. Spencer's Ordinary Marker
Inscription. On this road, four miles south, the action of Spencer's Ordinary was fought, June 24, 1781, between detachments from Lafayette's and Cornwallis's armies.
 
Erected 1950 by Virginia Conservation Commission. (Marker Number W-35.)

Location. Marker has been permanently removed. It was located near 37° 20.363′ N, 76° 45.258′ W. Marker was near Williamsburg, Virginia, in James City County. It was at the intersection of Richmond Road (U.S. 60) and Lightfoot Road (County Route 646), on the right when traveling south on Richmond Road. Touch for map.
