(English):
Welcome to Parque de las Palomas

This park was built during the 18th century as a cannon placement wall between las Palmas and la Concepción fortifications.

Located next to the Capilla del Cristo de la Salud (Christ Chapel) and a few steps from Santa Catalina Palace (official residence of the governor of Puerto Rico), the park is named due to the large number of pigeons that are fed by visitors.

Today, Parque de las Palomas offers sightseers fascinating and unique views of the San Juan Bay, making this a must see stop
