An Exemplar of Civic Duty Mayor of Ithaca and Member of the Assembly and Senate of the State of New York. His generous gifts to the City’s Benevolent institutions and his endowment of this recreation park bear lasting witness to his unfailing devotion to the welfare of this city. To him this memorial is gratefully dedicated by the Citizens of Ithaca 1927
