Inscription. Chairman of the Department of Urology at the Cleveland Clinic later named the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute from 1985-2008. Pioneered life saving urological techniques including bench kidney surgery for complex kidney disorders. Received the American Urological Association's highest award, the Ramon Guiteras Award in 2008. The only urologist to serve as president of the American Board of Urology, chairman of its examination committee and chairman of the National Residency Review Committee.
