1. Celebrating 50 years of progress on the Cuyahoga River Marker
Inscription.
From Cleveland's beginning, the Cuyahoga River has been the heart of the region and a reflection of its people - hard-working, relentless, and enduring.

Its ongoing resurrection since the June 22, 1969 fire on its surface is a testament to the work and people that brought the Cuyahoga River back to life.

We celebrate those whose commitment, strength, and perseverence played a critical role in its rebirth.

Erected 2019 by Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District.
