Inscription. Formed in 1938, it was unsuccessful at first, it was reorganized in March of 1940. United cab was the first cab company to go against Yellow Cab who had control of all the cab stands in the city. The organization faced an up hill battle with Yellow Cab & City Hall But thanks to members such as Edward Condon, John Anzalone and James Kohlman they were able to keep United Cab moving foreward. Today United Cab has over four hundred cabs in it's fleet and continue to serve the wonderful people of New Orleans and all its visitors.

Presented to Parkway Bakery from all the United Cab drivers past present & future. Thanks for giving us the business.
