1. Doige Park Marker
Inscription. Originally the Anthistle Gravel Pit, this property was taken over by the City of London in 1937. The Ryerson Home and School Association turned the site into a model playground in 1948. Through the efforts of the North London Community Association it became an early example of reclamation of urban wasteland and was officially declared a public park in 1970.
 
Erected 2000 by London Public Library Board.
