1. Toll Gates on the Proof Line Road Marker

Inscription. This pioneer road through London Township was maintained by the Proof Line Road Joint Stock Company from 1849 to 1907. The road, with its toll gates and overnight accommodation along the route, linked farmers and markets.

Erected 1994 by London Public Library Board.
