1. Downtown District Marker
Inscription.
Downtown District, Lower Euclid Avenue, Cleveland's traditional Main Street, was once the city's preeminent retail district. Today, calling upon its strengths as a center of commerce, housing, entertainment and home to the renowned City Club of Cleveland, Lower Euclid is regaining its stature as a preeminent street. The beautifully restored arcades found in this stretch of the avenue are evidence of its historical connections to other parts of downtown Cleveland.
