M4A3 General Sherman tank was the backbone of American armored forces in WW II. It provided very high levels of mechanical reliability, crew protection, mobility and firepower while serving in every threater of the war. It was armed with a 75mm main gun, two .30-caliber machine guns and a.50-caliber machine gun and had a five man crew. Weight: 32 tons Speed: 27 mph Engine: Ford V-8.

More than 49,000 M-4 tanks were built from 1942-44.
