Inscription. Reese Witherspoon played Oregon author Cheryl Strayed in this highly acclaimed film adaptation of her memoir that chronicled her transformative, 1,100-mile solo hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. The full trail spans 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada.

Did You Know?
Nearly 60 Oregon locations were used in Wild, including this plaza. It doubled as a community gathering place for people mourning the death of Jerry Garcia when Witherspoon’s character arrived from a difficult hike.
