1. Rhode State College - Borra Center Marker
Inscription. The Borra Center for Health Sciences opened in 2021 in downtown Lima, bringing healthcare education into the heart of the community.

The 50,000-square-foot facility was designed to train the next generation of nurses, EMS professionals, and therapists through hands-on, simulation-based learning.

The center is named for philanthropists Pier and Renee Borra, whose support for Rhodes State College began in 2005 through scholarships for Allied Health students. Their continued investment helped make this downtown facility possible.

Today, the Borra Center reflects Lima's ongoing commitment to education, innovation, and meeting the region's evolving healthcare needs.
