There are all sorts of Schiller Park experiences that intertwine place, culture, and identity-from pushing a child on swing set over and over and over again to laughing out loud at Shakespeare's wit, to feeling a sense of joy when spotting the Umbrella Girl's red jacket on an early December run.

Actors' Theatre of Columbus
Performing arts theater troupe that presents plays by William Shakespeare and other time-honored authors with relevance to a contemporary audience. Performances are at the Schiller Park Amphitheatre from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
German Village Nine
Schiller Park has a history as the location for several important professional baseball games-in particular, the 1867 game featuring the Columbus Capitals and Washington Nationals.

Inspired by the history, a group of locals formed the German Village Nine and joined the VBBA (Vintage Base Ball Association). The team plays by 1860s rules with equipment that is reproduced and true to era.
