Camp Wissalohichan
On this land, Joel Crofoot founded Camp Wissalohichan in 1878; later owned by Charles Lyman. This youth military camp operated until 1918, accepting both boys and girls.
Cadets who completed two years in good standing had their names carved into this totem stone.
Many of them, like George E. Stevens, went on to serve in World War 1.
