[Français] Le sol se transforme d'abord en un tapis végétal — une sorte de grand tableau couché, dont les formes et les couleurs changent avec les saisons — puis l’ensemble de la place devient une boîte à papillons surdimensionnée quad le sculpteur y fiche une douzaine d'épingles géantes, les unes portant des luminaires, les autres, quelques éléments d'un bestiaire imaginaire issu de la stylisation d'un vieil alphabet à l’usage des sans-abri; le tout en forme de forêt signalétique qui, à son tour, confère au « tableau incliné » les allures d’un sous-bois.

[English] The ground first turns into a vegetative carpet — a kind of large reclining painting, whose shapes and colors change with the seasons — then the entire square becomes an oversized butterfly box when the sculptor sticks a dozen giant pins into it, some bearing lights, others a few elements of an imaginary bestiary derived from the stylization of an old alphabet for the use of the homeless; all of it in the form of a signal forest which, in turn, gives the 'inclined painting' the appearance of an undergrowth.
