Thelma Merner Goldsword taught piano and organ at B-W for many years and also provided leadership as a trustee, she received an Alumni Merit Award in 1951 and a Conservatory Achievement Award in 1977. First and foremost a musician, she performed well into her nineties. A patron and benefactor of the Bach Festival, she also was a leader in community organizations, both musical and charitable. She will be remembered for her devotion to her art and her service to her Alma mater.
