A 1930 graduate of the Conservatory of Music, Martha Arnold continued her interest in her alma mater as president of the Charles J. Strosacker Foundation and a member of the B-W Board of Trustees from 1974 until her death. She chaired the Conservatory Committee. She received the Conservatory Achievement Award and an honorary doctor of fine arts degree. The Conservatory Lobby was dedicated in her honor in 1988. She will be remembered for her superb musicianship and her dedication to the arts and her alma mater.
