From 1950 until 1993, Dorothy McKelvey '24 served as the historian for Baldwin-Wallace College.
A lifelong resident of Berea. She was a founder and president of the Berea Historical Society. She received the Alumni Merit Award from B-W. The Award of Honor from Alpha Phi Sorority, and the grindstone award from Berea in 1980 she was named the historian of Berea and in 1984 the city named a park in her honor she will be remembered as one who delighted in sharing the history of her town and her Alma Mater.
