The life of Bertha Stiefel is intertwined with Baldwin Wallace as the daughter of a college faculty member, undergraduate student, active alumna, trustee, administrator and professor for thirty years. She is remembered by foreign students whom she counseled, by English students whom she taught, by fellow alumni who honored her with the Alumni Merit Award in 1952 and by generations of students to come through the scholarship that bears her name, we honor her for a lifetime of dedication to the college.
