Ruth Brockett Baur, distinguished faculty member in home economics for more than thirty years, is remembered for her inspirational teaching and genuine concern for her students. A leader in her field, she served as a Chairperson of the Ohio Home Economics Association. She provided expert guidance and counseling for her students who went on to distinguish themselves and their Alma mater. She received the B-W Alumni Merit Award in 1964 for her outstanding accomplishments. Baldwin-Wallace College is proud to recognize and remember her many outstanding contributions as a scholar, educator and counselor.
