• Died Danbury, Ohio, August 11, 1832, aged 70 Years*
• Veteran of the First War for American Independence, 1778 - 1784
• Surveyor of the Firelands, 1806
• First Permanent American Colonial Settler in Ottawa County, 1809
• First Keeper of the Marblehead Light, 1822 - 1832
