This traditional Japanese building with simplicity and beauty which is called Azumaya, was built in celebration of the Twentieth Anniversary of our Sister City relation between Miyazaki City, Japan, and the City of Virginia Beach. The completion of this project became a reality with generous financial assistance from the City of Miyazaki.

Erected 2012 by City of Virginia Beach & Miyazaki Prefecture.
