Inscription.
Relic from the Spanish steamship San Albano, wrecked on Hog Island (1892). The ship's crew was rescued by the U.S. Life-Saving Service.

Donated in loving memory of Hog Island native, Mrs. Mabel Bell Hamblin, by her family.
