1. Red Nun #6 Marker
Inscription. This ice buoy broke free from its station at the entrance to Swan Creek during the winter of 1960-1961 and came to rest in the marsh a few yards from here. Herb Cullis and Barbara Kilby obtained permission from the U.S. Coast Guard to recover and display the buoy as a part of maritime history and to donated it to the town of Rock Hall. Received and dedicated by Mayor Jay Jacobs, October 20, 2010
