1. Union Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery Marker
Inscription. In 1859, John P. Black, Sanford Argo, John Barton, L.D. Gamble, & Samuel Black organized a community church. On April 7, 1885, John and Jane Felkins donated land to the Union Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church for the cemetery. Pioneers were Robert Hunter, William W. and Sara Wilson, Zan Black, William J. and Alice Lovell, John and Alcy Lovell, John Akins, William H. and Jane Lovell Riddlesperger, Robert Black, Nathaniel Black, Joseph and Amanda Gardner, I.Q. and Laura Akins, Jim Hambric, and Mr. Brown.
