Regarding Patriot Burials. The City of Paducah's Parks and Recreation department maintains the cemetery. According to the City of Paducah's website: Ewell is the only Revolutionary War veteran buried in Paducah. Born in Prince William County, Virginia, he moved his family west to Kentucky over the Appalachians in a covered wagon to claim a land grant from General George Washington. Four generations of the Ewell family are interred on this lot.
