1. Devine House Marker
Inscription.
This Queen Anne style home was designed by architect John C. Pelton, Jr., for Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Devine. Devine was a pioneer in the local fruit packing industry and shipped raisins, oranges, dried fruits, and honey under the "Sunbeam" label. After Devine's death in 1923, Mrs. Devine shared the house with boarders. Mrs. Devine passed away here in 1942.
