1. DC Super-Villains Swing Marker

Inscription. DC Super-Villains Swing began its life as Whirligig, opening on May 29, 1976, as one of Six Flags Great America's original attractions. Originally located in the County Fair section, the ride later moved to Yankee Harbor in 1985 before shifting again near BATMAN™: The Ride in 2001.

In March 2022, Six Flags announced the transformation of Yankee Harbor into the new DC Universe™ area, bringing with it a full re-theme of Whirligig as DC Super-Villains Swing. The refreshed attraction debuted featuring bold new villain-themed artwork, an updated sign package, and a structure that introduced a new identity while preserving the classic Zierer Wave Swinger experience guests have loved for decades.
