Excerpt: Jeremiah Ellis married Anna Underwood, daughter of a well-known and prominent Virginia gentleman in 1803. His son, Washington, was born in 1804 and in 1832 married Miss Aris Parker of Mason County, Kentucky. Washington died in 1873; his wife in 1891.
