(Bradford Cemetery, Sprigg Township, Adams County, Ohio, USA) Excerpt: This William Bradford was not moved. His memorial does not belong in Manchester IOOF Cemetery. There are at least 15 people still in this cemetery. Several unmarked graves.(Submitted on June 22, 2026, by Cosmos Mariner of Cape Canaveral, Florida.)
There was a different Bradford Family Burial Ground than this one, from which bodies were moved. The following were moved to Manchester IOOF Cemetery in 1962: William, son of D & M.A. Bradford 1831-1832; Samuel, son of D & M A Bradford 1832-1862; James, son of D & M.A. Bradford, 1838-1880; David, 1806-1879; Mary A, wife of D Bradford 1813-1889. The Dayton Power and Light Company had purchased the land and paid the cost of relocating them. The markers were removed, sent to Richards Monument Works, cleaned, waterproofed and then set in concrete in the new location. A total of 9 bodies were moved 5 had the monument. The other four are unknown Bradford members and had no marker to state who they were.
