1. Memorial Ridge Mausoleum - Marker

Inscription. Memorial Ridge Mausoleum was built in 1925 by The Canada Mausoleum Ltd. This building is a classic example of funerary architecture, neo-classical in design, with Ionic columns supporting Doric entablature. Constructed of concrete with a sandstone veneer, it is fashioned to resemble a squared ashlar. A Board of Governors managed the mausoleum until 1976 when the Town of Fort Erie assumed responsibility.
