On the Menu
Fresh eggs, milk, butter, and cream were supplied by the Rose Island Company, which owned hens, a herd of Jersey cows, and a dairy. These abundant farm-fresh dairy products were a luxury for many of the city-dwellers who visited Rose Island.

Fresh Fried Fish
Fresh-caught fish, such as this bass from the Ohio River, were a menu staple.

[Insert]: Did you know? The 50’ x 100’ rectangular-shaped depression on the ground was the site of the Dining Hall.
