The American Hall
The American Hall built c. 1867. Clara Barton and Dorence Atwater spoke here on May 29, 1867. First brick bldg in town. The first meeting of the corporators of the Thomaston Savings Bank was held here on Aug 14, 1874. It is also the site of the first town meeting in 1875.
