Founder, Schenectady Humane Society
The Humane Society, along with the Children's Home of Schenectady, was instrumental in protecting and providing assistance to poor and neglected children of the community.
In 1983 the two groups merged and formed Northeast Parent and Child Society. In 2012 Northeast affiliated with Parsons Child & Family Center of Albany to create Northern Rivers Family of Services, one of the largest human services agencies in Upstate New York.
