Bakery
Fort Griffin's bakery was one of the most substantial buildings on the post. Built of stone with a cypress-shingle roof, the bakery is one of the few structures that remains from the original fort. As bread was a permanent feature of the garrison's diet, the bakery produced 800 loaves per day.
