Regarding Ryan Daniel Burris. Ryan Burris was raised in Lisle and graduated from Lisle High School in 2009. He joined the U.S. Navy in 2012 and was deployed to the United Arab Emirates in April 2015 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the U.S. operation against the Islamic State. Burris died in a non-combat-related incident in May 2025 at Zayed Military City
