1. Jaeger Family House Marker
Inscription. Constructed by G.D. Haigh for the Jaeger family, this fine house was part of the heightened building activity just west of the original Mile Square. The family moved from Des Moines, Iowa, in 1906 and quickly became established in Riverside. This house was the longtime home of son Dr. Edmund Jaeger, a leading regional botanist internationally known for his work on local flora and fauna.
