1. Stepping Stone Marker
Inscription.
This stepping stone was originally at the Pearisburg livery stable and was used to step from or to a horse or carriage onto the landing without soiling your shoes. The stable was located on the west side of the intersection of Mountain Lake Avenue and North Main Street.

It was donated to the Giles County Historical Society by John H. Givens, Jr., who had used it as a step from the sidewalk leading to Givens Funeral Home.
