(plaque:) Cornelius Van Dyck. Served as Lieut. Col. of the First New York State Regt. of the Line during the American Revolution. He is one of the original members of the Society of the Cincinnati. A member of the New York Assembly. One of the founders of St. Georges Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons and its master in 1787-8. This tablet is erected by Col. Cornelius Van Dyck Chapter Sons of the American Revolution and St. Georges Lodge No. 6 F. and A.M. 1920.
