1. Ronald & Hyslop Steamer Marker

Inscription. This Steam Powered Fire Pumper was built in 1869, at 27 Adelaide Street South, in Chatham Ontario, by the Ronald & Hyslop Company. It was purchased by the City of Chatham and put into service in 1870.

During Canada's Centennial in 1967" the steamer was restored by the Chatham Professional Fire Fighters and later placed in an enclosed glass show case, which was erected by the Chatham Museum Board at William and Murray Street.

In 1987 the Ronald & Hyslop Steamer was moved and placed in its present location in a display case erected by the Chatham Professional Fire Fighters Association with assistance from:
