Inscription.
The historic Ellicott City Garage is known colloquially as the Model T Building. The garage was built in 1921 with the financial support of Robert J. Taylor and Edward W. Talbott at the Patapsco Bank, and it originally housed a repair shop for Fords and Fordson trucks.

In 1927, Pual Morsberger bought the building and opened the Ellicott City Motor Company, the first Ford dealership in Howard County.
