1. The Star Spangled Banner Marker
The Star Spangled Banner with 15 Stars and 15 Stripes flew over Greene Ville at both the 1795 Green Ville Peace Treaty and during the 1814 Peace and Friendship Treaty with Major General William Henry Harrison.
Major General Anthony Wayne presented his flag to several Indian Nations to replace their British flags in an effort to bind them to the United States. Only one is known to survive and belongs to the Indiana Historical Society.
