Inscription.
In appreciation to General Henry Knox Commander of Artillery Continental Army American Revolution

Through this place in the winter of 1775-76 passed General Henry Knox to deliver the train of artillery captured at Fort Ticonderoga to General George Washington at Cambridge, Massachusetts for use in forcing the British to evacuate Boston.

Erected 2003 by Greater Loudonville Association.
