1901 Fog Signal Building
This small structure was built to house a compressed-air fog signal, powered by an internal combustion engine. It replaced an earlier iron tower containing a manually operated fog bell. The bell was relocated to the new roof as an emergency backup. About 1950 the fog signaling apparatus was moved to the nearby brick building.
