1. Lakeside Park Marker

Inscription. Davidson's first affordable neighborhood, Lakeside Park, was created through the united efforts of various segments of the Davidson community along with assistance from governmental agencies. Lakeside Park became a model for national legislation.

The first homes were built in 1967 and it has been home to many of Davidson's influential African American families for decades.
